In October 2009 EEF will publish a major report that will examine the UK's potential to compete in the global low-carbon arena and, because we don’t believe current policy goes nearly far enough, we will challenge Government to strengthen its support for the efforts of UK manufacturers.

Focusing on the the four key areas of:

• Skills
• Regulation
• Access to finance and implications of taxation

The report will asses the UK’s strengths and weaknesses as a low-carbon manufacturing location and put forward our recommendations for Government action in each case.
